An Important Day

Paragraph 1 (Introduction) : Have you ever felt that you have no friends who care of you? Do you ever feel lonely because you have no friend? This happened to me when I was in Junior High School. I thought that all of my friends didn’t care about me. Until one day something happened that changed my thought toward them. Let me explain how it happened and how it changed my thought.

Topic Sentences :

Paragraph 2 : When I was in Junior High School, I wanted to be like the other students who have a lot of friends to study with.

Paragraph 3 : Then one day, it was my birthday. 
           Paragraph 4 : From those things I can learn that, I may not judge people by the way they act in front of you. 

           Have you ever felt that you have no friends who care of you? Do you ever feel lonely because you have no friend? This happened to me when I was in Junior High School. I thought that all of my friends didn’t care about me. Until one day something happened that changed my thought toward them. Let me explain how it happened and how it changed my thought.

When I was in Junior High School, I wanted to be like the other students who have a lot of friends to study with.  But the things that happened in reality were out of my expectations.  I thought that I can have so many good friends there. But they aren’t. My friends treat me so badly that they even saw me like an enemy. They mocked me in every single thing that I did. I don’t even know whether they did it in purpose or not.  They never understand about my feeling. They just treated me like an enemy. How did it feel? It hurt me so deeply, and it even broke my heart. I never think that my friends in Junior High School will treat me like that. I never disturb them. I just want to make friend with them. But they didn’t even respect me. Day by day past, but there is no change in the way they treat me.

Then one day, it was my birthday. I felt so lonely, disappointed, angry, and I even want to cry. There is no friend who say happy birthday to me.  But, I can’t do anything. They don’t even remember my birthday. Until I arrived at my home and I saw there are so many decorations for birthday party. Those are very amazing and beautiful, it made me feel better. At first, I thought that my family who did it for me. But, I was wrong. It’s my Junior High School friends who did it for me. How I can believe that, I never think that they will do it for me.  There comes in many questions in my mind. Is it true? Did they really do it for me? How could they do it? And then, they suddenly come from behind me and bring me a beautiful birthday cake. I was so touched at that time and I even want to cry because of the happiness that I never felt before. Then, I hugged them directly. I said that I love them so much. After that, they apologize to me because of the bad things that they had done to me. And I directly forgive them. And that day made my day. Thank you so much to my friend.

From those things I can learn that, I may not judge people by the way they act in front of you. You must not think negative about everything that they’re doing. Sometimes it's out of our minds,right? but it really happened and you will never imagine that they can be so important for you one day.

For the overload of garbage we should do 3R (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). And for the unemployment, government should provide more job opportunities and improve labor skills by giving training.

The main problems in city can cause other serious problem. That’s why it should be solved.

My hometown’s problems

Nowadays there are so many social problems which become the duty of both government and the society.  Actually all parties should take part in solving social problems. We know that Indonesia is one of the countries which has the largest population in the world. So it means that there will be many social problems from different city including my beloved hometown, Metro, Lampung.     

The first problem in my hometown is the overload of garbage. Garbage overload is one of the biggest problems in my hometown, Metro. We can find garbage on the street, river and even in our houses. The garbage usually came from industrial waste and household waste. And the amount of garbage will increase along with the increasing of population and diverse activities. For example, every factory has industrial waste, so when there are more factories operated it will increase the amount of industrial waste. Another main problem is unemployment. Unemployment is defined as the number of people who do not have a job that provides money. As my hometown is one of the city with highest unemployment among other cities in Lampung, it becomes a very difficult problem for government to solve. There are large number of populations in my hometown but there is only limited job opportunities make the problem even worst.

It is important to take action for those main problems. For the first problem, government and society should be responsible for the problems because if it’s not solved, it can cause another problem such as flood. So, to solve the problem we should reduce the garbage by using 3Rs which are reduce, reuse, and recycle. Reduce means that we minimize the things which can only be used for once, such as plastic bags, plastic bottles and so on. For example we can bring our own bags from home so we don’t need to use plastic bags. Trash is usually considered as something that is not worth and no longer useful, but for some people who are creative and innovative, they can convert it into more useful goods, like using modified cans as pots.  That is what we called as reuse. And the last is recycling. The rubbish can be recycled into some items which have value after going through some processes. For example, organic waste can be recycled into compost to fertilize plants and soil. This ways can help reducing waste. But government still need to solve for the unemployment problem. As unemployment could cause poverty, it must be solved as soon as possible. To solve unemployment problem, government should provide more job opportunities. And the society is also encouraged to create their own business. Besides providing more job opportunities, government also need to improve labor skills through internationally certified training. It is hoped that this can reduce the unemployment.
In conclusion, the main problems in a city can cause other serious problems that are harder to solve. That’s why it should be solved as soon as possible. So, as a part of the society we should help government in solving the problems by doing our responsibility.

My Partner's Future Success

Lin Karlina: A Successful Wealth Planner

Lin Karlina is one of the best wealth plannner in her hometown, Cikarang. She becomes famous  and successful because she always does her job well. The results of her job always satisfies her boss. It’s not a surprise that she can become a successful wealth planner now  because she always does her best in everything that she’s doing.

Lin Karlina always learns and does exercises about things or subjects which are related with wealth planning since she was in Senior High School when she was around 17 years old. That’s why she chose social as her major in SHS to know and learn more about economic which will be a huge  impact for a job that is related to economic especially wealth planner. After graduating from SHS, she continued her study in President University and she took business administration as her major and she took wealth planning as her concentration. So that’s why she works as a wealth planner now.

Lin karlina has two main characteristics that have led her to achieve success until now.  First, she is a kind of person who is very optimist. She always work hard whatever the condition is and how many obstacles that bother her to reach success. She never care about it and never ever give up. She always tries to solve all of the problems and focused on her future career. Second, she is very discipline. Its means that she always done her assigntment on time and she never come late to class. When she thinks that it’s the time to learn, She will start learning directly without pending it. For example : when she was in SHS, she had start making schedule of her daily activities to manage her time for learning. That’s why she always does her assignment from the company on time and the result is excellent. This makes her boss proud and so lucky to have her as she can help developing the company and because of those things she get a big salaries and bonus from the company. She deserves all of that as a return to her effort.

A Future Wealth Planner

She is Lin Karlina, I usually call her Lin because I think it’s a very simple name to be called and remebered. She is from Cikarang. Her house is very close to President University. It’s just about 20 minutes. I don’t know her before. I just know her when I first came to President University and luckily we are in the same dormitory, so we can know each other easier. As I know, she is a kind of person who is opstimist, responsible and can cooperate well, and she also likes counting. Therefore, I think she would be a great wealth planner.

Firstly, Lin is very optimist. She always work hard and do her best with positive mind. Even when she is down with so many obstacles that bother her to reach her dream , she always cheer herself up and never give up.

Secondly, Lin is responsible and can cooperate well. In every task or assignment which are given to her, she always does it well. She also does her assignment on time. And she can cooperate with people in an organization and it’s proven when she joined in an organization when she was in Senior High School.  So  it’s a good point for her to be able to work in an office.

Finally, Lin likes counting or something that related with numbers. So, she wants to work as wealth planner in an office. She actually doesn’t like to work outdoor so we prefer to work indoor. It’s very suitable for her to work in an office as a great wealth planner.
